Interesting Facts

~ Lisa became a vegetarian after joining the cast of McLeod's Daughters.

~ Lisa finds it hard to choose exactly what her favourite colour is, but she says she her fav colour for flowers is yellow.

~ Lisa completed "The Journey" program at the Actors Centre in Sydney prior to joining the cast of McLeod's Daughters.

~ Lisa Chappell regularly donates blood to the Red Cross and encourages other to do the same. She became ambassador for the Red Cross in January 2004. Blood donation is a subject close to Lisa's own heart, as her mother needed a transfusion after giving birth to Lisa. More

~ Lisa Chappell is also a very talented singer, and is currently working on releasing a CD. She has completed writing and recording the songs, and hopes to have the CD released by the end of 2005. More

~ Lisa also loves to write. She has completed writing a play that she started before she commenced filming for MD, called "A Tale of Two Sisters". She has also written a children's book.

~ In addition to her work in television and film, Lisa has worked on  many stage productions - mostly in New Zealand - including Hamlet, Richard II, Crimes of the Heart, The Wizard of Oz and Fool for Love.

~ In March of 2004 Lisa Chappell became an ambassador for The Humor Foundation, to help raise money to keep The Clown Doctors in Australian hospitals.

~ Since leaving McLeods Daughters, Lisa has filmed a guest spot on Stingers which aired in August of 2004, she has also completed filming for a spot on Small Claims 3, the third sequel the the Australian mini series which first aired in Oct 2003. The installment in which Lisa filmed has not aired yet, nor has a date been advised for airing.

~ On the 8th December 2002 Lisa Chappell performed at the Mitcham Carols by the Creek, and sang Little Drummer Boy, Imagine, Santa Claus is coming to town, Let it Be and Silent Night. She also joined in the group melodies of Jingle Bells, Rudolph, Hark the Herald Angels Sing and O Come all ye Faithful. (more)

~ 4th August - Lisa has informed us of the title of her album. It is called "When Then is Now"

~ 16th May - Word from Lisa on the 16th May is that she is half way through recording her songs at the moment, and things are still well on track.
